I just have to say we've had problems with my child. But his therapist has made a huge difference in his life. He likes being there and his friendships are due to all of you. I'm so grateful. Thank you.![]()
Here at PCDA, we realize that many diagnoses rarely reflect the complexities of the individual. The infants and children who receive services at PCDA come from a wide variety of developmental backgrounds, each with their own specific concerns and diagnoses. While some may come to us with a diagnosis of autism, cerebral palsy, epilepsy, or mental retardation, others may come with a complicated medical history or even a common/rare genetic disorder. For this reason, we view each child as unique, having their own individualized personality, interests, and challenges. Utilizing the DIR® framework of functional-emotional development as the guide to our intervention services, PCDA's interdisciplinary team of professionals is able to address a wide range of developmental and behavioral concerns. Therefore, treating the child, not the diagnosis.
Although centrally located in Pasadena, PCDA's reach to the community covers a large portion of the greater Los Angeles area, including the city of Los Angeles, San Gabriel Valley, San Fernando Valley, West Covina, Downey, La Mirada and Whittier.
