Yuki Kubo, PT, DPT, graduated from University of Southern California in 2009 earning her title of Doctor of Physical Therapy. She completed her undergraduate education in 2005 at University of California, Davis with a degree in Exercise Science. Her interest in physical therapy developed in high school, when she had to receive physical therapy services for a knee injury from soccer. During her undergraduate years, she consistently volunteered her time at different orthopedic clinics to gain experience and knowledge of physical therapy. Her love for pediatrics sparked during her third clinical rotation in graduate school and she has been passionate ever since. She plans to be certified as a Pediatric Clinical Specialist in 2013.
Yuki has extensive experience working with children with developmental delays, hydrocephalus, plagiocephaly, and Cerebral Palsy, but enjoys working with children of all diagnoses. She applies her knowledge in Neurodevelopmental Techniques along with DIR concepts to provide the best service possible for the families at PCDA.
