Veronica Vallejo Sanchez has been working with families and their children in different capacities for over 6 years, and has been part of the PCDA family since April 1, 2011. She is bilingual in Spanish and holds a Bachelors Degree in Psychology from Argosy University and is soon to receive a Masters in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from National University. Veronica has a passion for working with children with special needs and their families in a variety of capacities such as direct intervention, a marriage and family therapist-trainee, and as an advocate for children with special need and their families. Veronica enjoys volunteering and joining community events to spread the word of services available for families and the DIR/Floortime approach and specifically within Spanish speaking communities.
Over the years, Veronica has worked in the field of health and human services and has gained experience in various capacities focused on behavioral issues, developmental disabilities, learning disorders, social-emotional disorders and psychological traumas.
