Perla Mendez received her Bachelors degree in Psychology from Cal State Fullerton. She is currently working on her Masters degree in Educational Psychology with an emphasis in School Psychology from Azusa Pacific University. She has worked as an instructional assistant and a substitute teacher for Rowland Unified. At PCDA she has worked with head-start, social skills group, and in home clients as well as summer theater. She hopes to continue her work with children and develop an intervention program that will bring awareness to typical children in school about disabilities.
