Denise Rugg, MA
Denise A. Rugg, M.A. received her bachelor's degree in Human Development and master's degree in Human Development with specializations in Leadership in Education and Human Services, Parent/Community work, and College Teaching from Pacific Oaks College. Prior to joining PCDA, Denise worked for several years in the child care field, working with Infants and Toddlers. Her roles included Lead Teacher in an infant/toddler classroom, Director of a child care center servicing children 6 weeks - 5 years of age, and trainer for directors of multiple child care centers. In addition, Denise worked as the Program Supervisor for a local Early Head Start program servicing children birth - 3 years of age. Her role included supervising a variety of child care centers as well as coordinating parent education opportunities. Denise continues to participate as a Teacher Assistant for a variety of college courses including adult development, cross-cultural studies, and communication classes at Pacific Oaks College.
