Ashley received her bachelor's degree in Psychology with an emphasis in child and family from Azusa Pacific University. She dedicated three years working as a house parent with abused and neglected foster children at a level 12 group home agency, Hillview Acres Children's Home. In addition, she also worked with Hillview's teen mom emancipation program. Her role included equipping teens with parenting skills, social skills and other skills necessary for single, working mothers, along with being a la maz coach.
