About PCDA

Pasadena Child Development Associates, Inc. is a non-profit organization whose focus is on child development serving children from birth to 12 years of age, and families, when there is any concern regarding development or behavior, including children with a diagnosis of autism, intellectual disabilities, epilepsy, cerebral palsy, learning disabilities, premature birth, genetic syndromes, and/or other developmental or behavioral concerns. This comprehensive group of child specialists provides evaluation, consultation and intervention services, as a multi-disciplinary team, under the direction of Diane Cullinane, M.D., developmental pediatrician and Mimi Winer, R.N., M.S., clinical nurse specialist in child development and parenting.

The multi-disciplinary team includes a developmental pediatrician, child development/parenting clinical nurse specialists, marriage and family therapists, occupational therapists, speech and language pathologists, child development specialists, behavior specialists, dietitians, developmental interventionists, music therapists and parents of children with special needs.

PCDA is certified by the State of California as a NPA - Non-Public Agency, serving children in public schools; and many programs and services are 'Vendored' by the Regional Centers, who provide funding for services for children with developmental delays or disabilities.
